I use Google news to keep me informed about a large group of subject areas. This morning under the "Health" articles was the headline about Ebola in Bundibugyo, Uganda. A husband and wife doctor team from our church in Virginia, Scott and Jennifer Myhres have established a medical mission during the last 14 years in Bundibugyo.
They are receiving international assistance but their is real danger to Scott, Jennifer and the other medical workers.
One of the African medical workers, Jonah, is recovering. Scott and Jennifer's children have been evacuated with other non-essential workers. Please pray for the people of Bundibugyo. You can track what is happening on Scott and Jennifer's blog at http://paradoxuganda.blogspot.com/.Update: Tue, 4 Dec - Dr. Jonah Kule has passed away from Ebola. Dr. Jonah loss is beyond words to his friends in Bundibugyo and to the people of Uganda. The fatality rate from the current strain of Ebola is 43%. The top picture is a funeral of one of the victims of Ebola. Please pray for the people of Uganda.
Update: Mon, 21 Dec - It has now been 21 days for the Myhres it means that they are safe from the Ebola. Here are the statistics.
