Today at 12:24pm at Sligo General Hospital, we welcomed the arrival of Deirdre Grace Hanley into the world. She was weighed at 7lbs 6 oz. Danielle and the baby are doing great by God's grace.The mid-wife, Mary, had Danielle and another expecting mother going through labor. She kept going back and forth. She was almost working as hard as Danielle! Danielle has gone through a lot just being pregnant. But the labor and delivery were not as bad as the other children. The folks in the hospital here have been great. After the birth, they brought us some tea and biscuits.
I brought the children around tonight to see their new sister. They were all excited especially Aine and Mairead.
Danielle and Deirdre will be spending tonight at the hospital. We look forward to picking them up tomorrow.
Our next challenge is moving to our rental house in Offaly next weekend.

That's brilliant & good to hear more news on the birth and pictures! Danielle looks tired (and no wonder!) but happy! Let us know your phone number at the rental house as soon as you're able!
